All I seem to find are sites that are essentially paid advertisements from the usual cheesy online colleges. I’d like to see something more objective and hopefully featuring more reputable institutions. Thanks!
A few things I should have mentioned before–I live in South Korea (not military though) and am interested in the social sciences. Thanks!

I am a dependent that my parents claimed and was wondering how they can receive education credit for the amount of money paid in cash for books, lab materials, rooming and board, etc.
How is it included into the tax report? We already included the Form 1098-T, which only covers for tuition.

I am looking into Medical Transcription school so that I can work from home to be with my kids. Is it better to do the schooling online or go to a local junior college? If you had success with online schooling would you please direct me to the school that has worked for you.
Thanks to all comments.

I was thinking about homeschooling for my 7th grade and 10th grade children. I know about online classes but anything along those lines would be appreciated. We are Florida residents and so far we have found the Florida Virtual School.

I’m thinking of using Kent State’s distance learning program for my Masters in Library Science degree. I live too far away from Kent State and was wondering how there distance learning program works. Has anyone gone through it? Do you have to go to a specific place to learn?

I am taking a public speaking class online using ConnectLucas. Class just began yesterday and so far going through the syllabus, introduction and orientation I have yet to learn what type of equipment (webcam, camera, etc.) that is best to use for recording my speeches. In fact, for the hardware and software requirements for ConnectLucas, none of that was mentioned, either. PLEASE…someone who has taken this course, what did you use and how was the quality of your speeches?
