I graduated from college a few years ago, got my BA in business, but I’ve always been really good with computers so I’m looking for a career change.

Can anyone tell me which courses are required (or the "most common")? What would be a good place to start? A+? etc. Thanks.

I am in my middle fifties. Back in my twenties, I took two BSc. degrees, one in Mechanical Engineering, the other in Geology. At the time, my thinking was something like: "Sociology! That’s for people who can’t handle a REAL science, or a REAL major!"

Now, thirty years later and semi-retired, I have become intrigued in recent years by the subject of sociology (developed along with my evolution into a Marxist) and regret not having studied sociology as a ‘minor’ or even pursuing it as a third Bachelor’s degree.

I would like to pursue further study in sociology, and earn a BA in the subject. My movement is somewhat limited due to a major physical injury a few years ago that has confined me to a wheelchair. Are there any ACCREDITED colleges or universities offering a BA in Sociology that can be earned ENTIRELY online? Preferably, one that will allow me to work self-paced, building it around my work-schedule; and, not too expensive. Thanx!

I have my BA in English, my secondary teaching certification, and almost finished my American Sign Language Interpreter’s Certification. However, I am now working as an Executive Assistant (because sadly, the money is better) and would like to go back to school to get my Masters Degree in something that could relate to either job. I’d eventually like to go back to teaching, but that’s not an option for a few years. Any ideas on a Masters degree that could fit both?

what is the best online school for a BA in social science?

I ask because I going into the air force and might have to resort to online classes to get my BA since i want to be able to apply to the CIA FBI or NSA after my contract as a cryptologic linguist is up. I was just wondering what online college would be accepted by these organizations if any? Thank you for your time and help.

How many loan forgiveness programs are there in obtaining a Masters Degree in Teaching or Education?
I’m interested in programs that offer a Masters Degree in exchange for teaching in public school after degree completion.I’m an American with a BA in History and currently teach in a university in China.

I am considering getting my BA in International Business. I am not very good at math so I was wondering how much math work is involved in a degree of this type. Also what sort of job and salary could I get after I graduate? (And is studying abroad an important factor?)

I am curious to know if an online degree is more mainstream and acceptable these days. I mean getting an online degree from a distinguished University or is it better to physically go to school?

I need to pick up one or two history credits for a degree I’m pursuing. I have my BA, but I’m changing fields. I work full-time, so distance education would work best for me.

I need a reputable program where the courses start year-round. Athabasca University looks good, but has anyone had any experience with them? Is there another program I should look at?
