I live in California, I am applying to an Arizona college for nursing, if I graduate in Arizona with my associates degree or bachelor degree can i come back to California and be a nurse?

I have a friend who is pretty wealthy and she just graduated from a two-year school which is legally able to award associate degrees. I asked her if she was going to further her education and earn a bachelor degree, but she said no.

Why is that? She said something about being in demand with only an associate degree. What does this mean? Does it mean that if she had a bachelor degree it would cost employers more to hire her?

Why would someone choose to only get an associate degree and not a bachelor degree? She has the time and money, just doesn’t want to.

What are the benefits of having an associate degree?

Ok I will be graduating high school May 2008 and I will have my associate degree in early childhood education but if I want my bachelor degree in early childhood education will it take 2 years or 4 years to complete?

I am planning to get a bachelor degree in finance and i would like to go to an online college like AIU; they said that it would last about 4 years (associate+bachelor) and that i would have to get an associate first that would cost about k + k for the bachelor=k.
Is that a good investment or should i go to a community college?

Is it true that employers like to see a bachelor degree in any field, regardless of your specialty because it shows you hard work and through education? I find that hard to believe but that has been told to me many times by people with 4 yr degrees.
